On April 14, 2022, Elsevier officially released the list of “2021 Highly Cited Chinese Researchers”. 60 researchers from the discipline of “Public Health and Preventive Medicine” are on the list, including Prof. Hongbing Shen, Prof. Zhibin Hu, Prof. Zhengdong Zhang and Prof. Qizhan Liu from our school. Starting from 2015, Prof. Hongbing Shen and Prof. Zhibin Hu have been continuously on the “Highly Cited Chinese Researchers” list.
In 2021, there were 4,701 Highly Cited Chinese Researchers from 523 universities, enterprises and scientific research institutions, covering 10 academic fields and 84 first-class disciplines of the Ministry of Education.
